How to make a dance schedule


Even before recruiting new groups, the coach must correctly draw up a schedule. Oddly enough, 50% of success depends on this. After all, even a coach with an excellent reputation will not get groups if the time is chosen incorrectly. It will just be inconvenient for people to come at the appointed time.

I offer some very effective solutions for choosing days and times.

Time

The afternoon, after 16:00, is suitable for almost any set. But what if 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm is only four of the eight hours required for full employment?

Theoretically, with older students, for example, with adults, you can study until 22:00. But it turns out only six hours of employment.

I found such a way out, how to take every hour during the day.

In the early morning, at 6:00-8:00, yoga, stretching, and gymnastics are excellent.
From 9:00 to 11:00, you can recruit groups of children who go to school on the second shift. At the same time, housewives who took the children to school or kindergarten can come. Then you can conduct classes for three-year-olds who do not attend the garden.
From 14:00 to 16:00 you can recruit groups of first graders. Their school hours end at 12:30-13:30, and they will be in time for your lessons.
Kindergarten groups go well from 17:00, as often parents pick up children after an afternoon snack, at 16:30.
From 18:00 is a great time for elementary school students studying on the second shift.
19:00-20:00 is suitable for older students and working adults.
20:00-22:00 - time for classes with adults in any direction.
Individual lessons can be set at any time. But I do not recommend doing this during prime time, that is, from 19:00 to 21:00. Leave this time for groups.

Days of the week

Groups traditionally go two or three times a week. Usually it is Monday + Wednesday or Tuesday + Thursday.

What to do with Fridays and weekends if you want to take them too. Put groups "Monday + Wednesday" for those who are not ready to go on weekends and will be able to go on Friday for the third day. "Tuesday + Thursday" - for those who are suitable for the third day of Saturday.

It is these variations that suit the vast majority of customers. On weekends, it is enough to put on separate groups for those who cannot escape on weekdays. As a rule, stretching, physical training, entertainment programs and fitness are great on Saturday-Sunday.

Also on weekends, you can put on individual lessons, staging show numbers, run-throughs before performances, staging a wedding dance.

For trainers who work mainly with children, I recommend checking with the nearest kindergartens, schools, school preparation centers for the days and times of classes. Your main target audience is there, so it’s useful to adjust to their schedule. But keep in mind that first-graders' schedules change during the school year. Leave a backlash so as not to lose students after the New Year, when children's classes will end later than in the first half of the year.

When scheduling for adults, check the opening hours of the nearest offices and large companies.

Parents of preschoolers are guided by the time of classes in preparation for school. Be sure to find out what time it takes place. As a rule, children are enrolled in other circles on days free from preparation for school.
