Leibyk (clothes)

Leibyk is a kind of national clothing of Ukrainians, sleeveless. These are men's and women's straight back sleeveless clothes.

Leibyks were sewn from home-made cloth, the skirts were decorated with metal buttons and pockets.

As an everyday popular garment, the leibyk was widespread mainly in the Carpathian region, but was also in use in the rest of the regions of Ukraine.
