Urutengangana (Maori mythology)

Hello everyone. We are all dependent on it. There is nothing in the world faster than it. Yes, that's right, it's Light. The Maori unanimously agreed that it was perhaps the first child of the universe, and it wielded by Urutengangana.

The deity of light in Maori mythology, Urutengangana, was the firstborn child of the primitive parents, Rangi, the father Sky, and the Papa, the mother Earth.

He is also known as Brilliant. Its existence is a great example of how ancient people embodied ordinary things, in this case Light. Urutengangana had two wives: the first, Moeahuru, who gave birth to the "red Sun" and the "rising moon", and later the stars; the second, Hineturama.

During the war between the forces of Light and Darkness, Urutengangana first sided with Viro, the ruler of Darkness and evil, but later sided with Thane, the father of forests, birds and people.

Such a short biography of the light deity has been preserved to this day. History sooner or later forgets about everyone, but the light given by Urutengangana lives on today. See you!
